Here’s a wee sneek peak of tomorrow’s blog post which is going to include all of my pieces for the Gallery Hanahou Show. It was so much fun to make this one and I’ve actually made another to bring along to the Magpie Market on 6 Decemeber! Looking forward to posting the photos of the two octopuses I did for the show, they are a new design and I’m really pleased with them.

Just ordered these awesome postcards today from Vista Print! I’ll be giving them out at Magpie Market + they’ll also be included in any etsy purchases you make from me. If they arrive in enough time I’m also going to try to mail a handful to the Gallery Hanahou show, so you might be able to snag one there as well.
Orangefishy Plush will be participating in our first Craft Fair on 6th December here in Edinburgh! Please click the image above for more details! I’m super excited and I think it’s going to be a blast.

Here is the other fabric I designed using Ryan’s drawing. I really, really love it and I’m sure it’s going to translate perfectly to pouches! I asked Ry why the squid was missing legs and he said it had been in an epic battle with the whale and therefore had lost some of it’s appendages! lol. I have two other drawings Ry did for me to make into fabric, but for now I’m ordering these two and seeing how they do. I suddenly feel so busy and productive it’s awesome! Still seeking a part-time job though… it will be nice to get out of the flat more and also have some extra income.
i’ll leave you with another cute drawing, that will soon be fabric, too!

I’ve been working with (see: pestering) Ryan to do some drawings for me, which I can then make into the fabric. The idea is to use the fabric to make zippered pouches (and possibly other stuff). I love the idea of using my own fabric to make things, especially in a sea of similar items being sold on etsy, this makes it something a little more special.
The design above is my second design using Ry’s drawings and I can’t wait to make more and get them ordered! Here is another one of the drawings, which I love:

It’s a wee bit rough at the moment, but I think when it’s all done it will be lovely. What do you think?
I’m happy to announce, with the revision of my website, I finally have a new blog to update with all kinds of plushy-related goodness. I’ve got lots of fun exciting things in the works, so expect to see tons of new blog posts detailing them! Thanks for stopping by and having a look!
